College Figure Drawings 2008 (Group 3)
Here is the third batch of figure work I'll be uploading. I will upload the final one tomorrow and that will be it for these. Some of them have been damaged but I tried to clean them up as best as possible. I've worked on compiling the images into a more concise post for better presentation. Testing things out for now.

College Figure Drawings 2008 (Group 1)
This is the first group in a collection of drawings from my Figure class. Drawings vary from 30 sec - 30 min and one or two 1-2hrs time limits. Most are charcoal on newsprint with a few exceptions. Many have received some sort of damage over the years while being stored away but the images are mostly intact.

College - Painting Classwork Early 2009
[Acrylic on Paper]
Lighting color study of two invented objects in an invented space. We chose the colors of the light and the objects then had to accurately paint what colors the lighted and shadowed surfaces would be. I think my light was red based off of the orange surfaces and the purple top of the block. We used a color chart to determine the shadows.

This project started off with a drawing of a plant outside. We then had to manually design this effect (of which I have completely forgot the name) and then paint it with 5 colors.

Now this was the hard part. We had to take our first drawing and transfer it/redraw it exactly then try to do the same thing but using a color scale that matched the same intensity of the original. I obviously failed on this one as my colors came out much darker and even a bit more sloppy. This was a hard project so I was quite worn out with it.
[Acrylic on Paper]
Simple painting from observation. It was a study on complimentary colors. My school had plenty orange and blue.
[Acrylic on Paper]
Also another weird project. We had to take a box and fill it with construction paper then paint it. I think there was something i missed about only using a certain number of colors. Oh well. We then had to paint it.It was a study on color mixing and accuracy.

Still-life, in-class assignment, 1 sitting
College - Drawing Classwork 2008
[Pencil]
7hr pencil crosshatching of my shoes :) I love how they turned out. My shoes are definitely ragged like that.
[Pencil]
Re-post of an earlier image but with better quality. This assignment was to draw only with lines and no shading.
[Charcoal]
Real animal skull :) My teacher was a collector.
[Charcoal]
Unfinished still-life. Too bad I was sick because I had really wanted to finish it.
[Pencil]
Crosshatching apples not as fun as crosshatching shoes.
[Pencil]
In-class assignment. Just a basic sketch of a still-life.
[Charcoal Pencil on Gray Paper]
In-class assignment drawing of an arrowhead.
[Charcoal]
In-class assignment studying drawing with blocks of shading.
[Pencil]
Invented architecture assignment.
